About Me

Bio

Hello everyone! I am Michael Cottone, a photographer currently based in the Indianapolis, IN region. I am self taught and started photography my senior year in high school purely as a hobby. Since then, taking photos has become an immense passion of mine because of its ability to tell stories, convey emotion and have a moving effect on people. I am currently pursuing my love for photography and storytelling by attending Ball State University and majoring in photojournalism while obtaining a minor in peace studies and conflict resolution.

Outside of taking photos, I am passionate about music, writing and travel. My ultimate goal is to mesh each of these passions of mine, one way or another. Documenting what I see as I travel, whether it be from touring with a band/artist, exploring new territories or working on photo essays of unique people, places and events.

I am still available to be booked for shoots! If you'd like to have your story told, come to me. We all have a story that's well worth telling, let's show it to the world.

"It is never too late to be what you might have been."
